A jumbo lupin heat pack designed to nestle comfortably on a lap. Safer than a hot water bottle which can leak, the heat bag’s generous size is suitable for use as a cosy bed warmer on those chilly winter nights. If you’ve visited Phillip Island, then my exclusive design of penguin pairs on parade on Phillip Island is a perfect memento.
The large lupin heat bag is made using tea towels printed by Frankie & Swiss of Melbourne using vegetable dyes printed on 100% natural linen fabric. The recycled linen tea towel is then cut, sown and filled with lupins in Warrnambool. The recycled linen tea towel heat pack is attractively packaged with a natural red Hessian ribbon.
Heat Bag Size: Width 36cm x Length 26cm
Lupins are a superior filling for heat bags:
- Lupins are chemical free and have a low odour
- Lupins retain heat longer than wheat or rice bags
- Lupins have a low carbon footprint and water requirement
- Lupins are non-compostable
- Lupins don’t sweat when heated
- Lupins are gluten – free but avoid if you have a nut allergy
Instructions:
Fold the lupin heat bag in half and then heat in a clean microwave for 2 1/2 minutes.
Never overheat your heat bag or warm in a conventional oven.
Heat bags should be spot cleaned only.
