Hooded Plover Charm

Hooded Plovers are found on sandy beaches in Eastern Australia. These sweet little shorebirds scrape a nest in the sand to lay their grey speckled eggs. This nesting behaviour means Hooded Plovers are extremely vulnerable to the impacts of urbanisation and predators.
